Merci

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Fans!

It is Pam from Stamper At Heart Blog sharing with you today!

We are getting very close to our new release for Christmas!  And it will soon be time for us to share the new dies but until then we are showing you some new ideas for those favorite dies from the past!
I was blessed to be able to go to Paris on vacation one year and it is truly a beautiful city.  The Z - fold card I made for you today was inspired by that amazing visit!  And the best thing about this fun card is it took just one fantastic die!!

I would like to share the steps for this fun and feminine card!

1.  Start by using a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of white card stock score at 2 3/4 inches and 5 1/2 inches

2.  Cut Pink card stock 1 piece 4 x 5 1/4 and 2 pieces 4 x 2 1/2 set aside
3.  Cut Pink DP  1 piece 3 3/4 x 5 and 2 pieces 3 3/4 x 2 1/4.  Glue the Pink DP to the pink card stock  and then attach to the card

4.  Cut an 11 x 1 1/2 inch piece of white card stock and score at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4
5.  Cut pink card stock 1 piece 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 and 2 pieces 2 1/2 x 1 1/4.  Glue the pink card stock to the white

6.  Attach the strip to the card making sure you only place glue on the first 4th of the strip and the last 4th of the strip.  The middle fold will pop out toward you as you fold the card

7.  Cut out all of the pieces using the Eiffel Tower, Lamp & Poodle die.  I used black and white card stock plus a small piece of yellow for the lamp glow

8.  Tape the piece of yellow for the lamp on the backside of the post and stamp merci! on the white part of the sign
9.  Glue the sign post to the front of the card and add the sentiment to the lamp post
 10.  Glue the Eiffel Tower to the inside back
 11.  Add darning thread to the dogs for their collars and small pearls for the eyes and them glue the black poodle down first and pop up the white poodle next to it

Hello Card

Hi Everyone!
It's Olena here today to share with you a HELLO card!  I made this card using the Super CUTE CottageCutz dies- Eiffel Tower, Lamp & Poodle dies from NEW 2013 Vintage Collection.

In first, I cut the Eiffel Tower in grey cardstock and sponged the edges with craft ink.
For background of card I used two colors of patterned papers. I cut rectangular pieces of papers then punched the corner with paper punch and glued all on cream cardstock and basic brown card. After this, I cut oval and scalloped oval shapes using Spellbinders classic dies.

In a second, I added  all  pieces and  die cuts to card front as shown in picture above. I also, put under the Tower the sentiment "Hello". I think, this sentiment is perfect for this card.

 For this card I used:

Valentine Tussy Mussy

Hello Friends.  It's Carol here today to bring you a project just in time for your Valentine gift giving needs and it's made with something you normally would just throw away.  It's an empty toilet paper roll!
For this one the Eiffel Tower, Lamp, & Poodle Die was used.   I lined the inside of the tp roll with black cardstock  I stamped a piece of white cardstock with a Large French Script Stamp that I got at a yard sale for 50 cents.  Upon inquiring about this stamp the best I can come up with is that it may have been a Stampin Up stamp but I am not sure.  I then distressed with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and  glued to the tp roll.  The bottom was then hot glued together to form the holder.  I used some trim that I bought a long time about that is beaded and had that fufu on it.  The heart is a Martha Stewart Punch that was glued to black cardstock.  It was cut free hand so it would show up on the paper.  The heart on the Eiffel tower is a Recollection sticker, the flowers were in my stash.   The pink rhinestone flourish is also from Recollection.  Gathered lace was attached around the opening to dress it up and more eyelash yarn was glued at the top to compliment the bottom treatment.   The handle was punched with Martha Stewarts Heart border and glued to each side.  Little bows were made with ribbon and adhered to the top of the handles .  This is ready to have some Hershey's Chocolate kisses placed inside!

You know once you do one you can't just stop there!  So here is another one I made using the CottageCutz Small Teacup Die and the CottageCutz Tea Time Doily.  They are so addicting to make-just try it-you'll soon find out.  They are so fun.   This was made from various laces and Recollection trim and flourish pearls.  The sentiment was created in word and cut with a heart shape die with pearls applied around the edge.  The doily was folded over about 3/4's and glued to the tp roll.  Thanks for stopping by today.
